Bears Paw Country Club is a member-owned course and each member resident has a golf cart with no trail fee.  Jack Nicklaus designed Bears Paw and it can be a challenge to the scratch golfer, yet not too intimidating to the average player.

Out of bounds:  defined by white stakes on the following holes - #4 through #10, #12, #13, and #17 & #18.  On #15 out of bounds is defined by the boundary fence.  On #10 & #11 it is defined by white line on the road.  The ground to the left of the lakes on holes #7 and #9 is the out of bounds.  On #16 & #17 the ground to the right is out of bounds.

Hazards:  all lakes and streams are played as marked.  On holes #10, #13 & #14 the rocks are in the hazard.  Lines and/or stakes define the margin of these hazards.

A ball drop is provided for Hole #9 (gold tee box).  A ball place area is provided for hole #14.
