The Plantation is home of The Great House, the golf clubhouse for residents of Somerset at The Plantation who choose to join the golf club.  The British Colonial style facility will include men's and women's card rooms, a gathering room, a meeting room, locker rooms, a billiards room, golf pro shop, as well as dining.  Somerset residents have use of Somerset Hall, upon completion, and it will have an activitiy center featuring fitness facilities, swimming pool, tennis courts, billiards room, library and TV/Internet lounge. 

In Somerset - The golf course section at The Plantation there are six home types:  The Barbados Series carriage home has 2 bedrooms, den, and 1,654 sq. ft., or 3 bedrooms plus den with 2,297 sq. ft.  The Bermuda Series carriage home with 1,747 sq. ft. has 2 bedrooms and there is also a 3-bedroom with 2,296 sq. ft.  The Antigua Series first floor carriage home offers 2 bedrooms and a den with 2,091 sq. ft., and the second floor has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths and 2,743 sq. ft.  The Cayman Series has 7 villa floor plans ranging from 1,800 to 2,453 sq. ft. and 2 bedrooms, den, and 2 baths and up to 3 bedrooms and 3 baths.  The Trinidad Series includes 8 single-family floor plans from 2,042 to 2,776 sq. ft. with 2 bedrooms plus den and 2 baths to 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, and all include a 2-car garage.  The Grenada Series estate homes range from 2,404 to 3,542 sq. ft. with 3 bedrooms plus den and 3 baths, up to 4 bedrooms with 4 baths.

The 18-hole Hurdzan/Fry golf course should be open for play in the Fall of '07.
